Your child’s health is the most important goal. Early detection of impairment to vision, hearing, and posture; along with a connection to your school nurse, can provide the link to proactive care and treatment. As a part of my nursing care to your child in the 2019-20 school year, I will be traveling to your area, on a monthly basis. Please continue to read for availability close to your home.
I will offer,
- Hearing screening to children from Kindergarten through Third grades.
- Vision screening to children from Kindergarten through Fifth grades.
- Postural screening to children in 5th grade, once in grades 6-8, and once in grades 9-10.
Please visit with your school nurse on September 20, 2019, from 9-3 at Fall River Public Library, 104 North Main Street, Fall River, MA 02720.
These screenings are meant to be a collaborative effort with your child’s pediatrician, and are meant to identify opportunities for further support and care.
If you have further questions, please call me at 413-475-3879 x 1.
