High Quality Education from Massachusetts-Certified Teachers

Teachers at Greenfield Commonwealth Virtual School are caring, talented, and dedicated staff who believe in collaborating with both parents and students to prepare young people for success in and out of school.

All of our online school teachers are licensed by the state of Massachusetts, and they are well-prepared to deliver personalized online lessons that challenge and support each of their students. As part of their role as GCVS teachers, they get to know students and families well, enabling them to communicate better and customize the online learning experience to each student.

Teaching Requirements for Massachusetts Licensed Teachers

Every teacher at GCVS is a fully licensed teacher in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and meets the following requirements and more:

• Has earned at least a Bachelor’s degree
  Has passed all required Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) exams and holds a Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
  Has passed an approved educator preparation program
