It’s been a busy summer at GCVS. Our biggest news is that we’ve moved! Our new office is just down the street from our old one. Our new address is:

238 Main Street, 3rd Floor

Greenfield, MA 01301

Everything else remains the same – phone/fax numbers, emails, web site. If you are in the area, stop by and see our new space! The administrative offices are on the 3rd floor and the Department of Student Services is on the 4th floor.

Preparations for the New School Year

We are also very busy getting ready for the new school year, which is just a few weeks away! The opening face-to-face days of school will vary for students, depending on where you live, as these will be our Bigger Brighter Beginnings Extravanganzas! We are finalizing the locations of these events, which will be held in 12-14 different spots across Massachusetts to make it as convenient as possible for families to attend. We are excited to show you some tools for learning, let you meet our new staff members, and have an opportunity to make new friends while renewing old friendships. Save August 28 and August 29 as the dates. Students and their families will only be required to attend one of those two days.  More information will be coming shortly about when and where these events will be held and every student will receive a free GCVS backpack with helpful information inside!

Just a reminder to new and returning families to be sure to complete your registration or re-registration processes as soon as possible. All of your information feeds our information systems, including those that notify you of upcoming events like our Bigger Brighter Beginnings, and other important information you will need to know for the start of school. If you have any questions, call our office at 43.475.3879 x39 to speak to Joan, our enrollment specialist.

Here’s some inspiration to get you thinking good thoughts about the year ahead!
