Welcome to the Greater Commonwealth Virtual School community!

As the director of student services, I am thrilled to partner with our families, students, and dedicated staff to foster an environment where every learner can thrive. In our virtual school setting, we recognize that academic success is deeply intertwined with holistic support. That is why our vision for student services goes beyond a single program—it is a comprehensive, whole-student approach.

Our department is dedicated to ensuring equity, accessibility, and opportunity for all students by seamlessly integrating a wide range of essential supports, including:

  • Special Education Services: Providing individualized, high-quality instruction and accommodations.
  • English Learner (EL) Support: Celebrating linguistic diversity and ensuring multilingual students have the tools to excel.
  • 504 Accommodation Plans: Removing barriers to learning to ensure equal access for students with diverse medical and learning needs.
  • Title I Programs: Delivering targeted academic interventions and resources to support student achievement.
  • Social-Emotional & Wraparound Supports: Nurturing the mental health, well-being, and overall development of every child.
