Jorja Hammill

Hello! My name is Jorja Hammill, and I am a school adjustment counselor at GCVS. I came to GCVS with over 20 years of experience working as a school counselor and school social worker in Massachusetts and in New York. I have worked with Pre-K through twelfth-grade students in both urban and rural districts to help support their academic, social, and emotional needs. At GCVS, I will be working primarily with elementary and middle school students on individual goals as well as in small groups to help strengthen friendship and social skills. I live in northern New York with my family, Jeffrey and Jack. We spend lots of time running from one sports game to the next. When we aren’t at a game, we like to be outside enjoying the Raquette River near our house and the nearby Adirondack Mountains. I am looking forward to meeting with you!
